Kenya Cup winners KCB are set to take home Ksh1,000,000 after beating Kabras Sugar 15-23 to win the 2018/9 edition on Saturday 18 May 2019 in Kakamega.
This comes after KRU entered into a 5-year partnership worth Ksh35,000,000 per year with Radio Africa Group to see Bamba Sport become their new media partner.

For coming second to KCB - for a third straight year - Kabras Sugar will take home the runners-up purse of Ksh600,000 as stipulated in the prize money structure.
There will also be cash prizes for the rest of top 10 teams.Only the relegated teams (11th and 12th) that will not get any cash in the new prize money scheme. Mwamba and Kenya Harlequins, ranked third and fourth, will take home Kshs 400,000 and kshs 300,000, respectively, as playoff making Nakuru RFC and Impala Saracens receive Kshs 200,000 each.
In the Eric Shirley Shield, champions KCB II earned Kshs 60,000 while the runners up Homeboyz II will receive Kshs 40,000.
