Ugandan side Pirates are pooled for the final leg of Kenya national sevens circuit, Christie 7s set for Sat 15 - Sun 16 September, 2018 at RFUEA Grounds, home to Kenya Harlequins.
Pirates recently won the 2018 Guinness National Rugby Sevens Series in Uganda becoming the first side in history to win a treble in Uganda- Rugby 7s series, Uganda Cup and Rugby Premiership title. The side featured Uganda Cranes internationals like Ivan Magomu.

Out of the seven circuits played in 2018, Pirates won three and were in the final five times with the least finish they have ever had being a loss in the semis.
They will face Dala 7s champions Mwamba who are seeded top, Kabras Sugar and the Mean Machine.
Another invited side, a combined team between Blue Bulls and TUKs both from South Africa are in pool B with series leaders Homeboyz, Driftwood 7s champions Top Fry Nakuru and Menengai Oilers.
Hosts Kenya Harlequin face rivals Impala Saracens in pool C with Northern Suburbs and Emerging Uganda completing the pool. KCB will once against meet Nondies this weekend in a pool D that also features Kisii RFC and promoted Strathmore Leos are the other teams in pool D.
The national Sevens circuit promises an exciting finale as series leaders Homeboyz, at 100 points, and Mwamba, at 92 points, will be seeking to win the overall title.

Pool B: Homeboyz, Top Fry Nakuru, Menegai Oilers, South Africa Select
Pool C: Impala Saracens, Kenya Harlequins, Northern Suburbs, Emerging Uganda
