Tunisia have moved out of relegation zone after beating Zimbabwe 31-23 in the Africa Gold Cup on Saturday, July 29, 2017 in Harare.

It was Tunisia’s first win in the cup as they had lost three consecutive matches and now stand a big chance to survive relegation come August 5.

Tunisia ran in three tries, two conversions and four penalties against Zimbabwe’s three tries, one conversion and two penalties.

As it stands, Tunisia have four points to sit fifth ahead of Senegal who have one to drop to sixth. Zimbabwe remains fourth.

The relegation battle continues till the last day when Senegal travel to Tunisia with only three points separating them.

The last team will be relegated to Africa Silver Cup and fail to participate in next year’s World Cup qualifiers.
