Kenya 7s is pooled in a relatively easy pool for the fourth leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series Sydney 7s set for Saturday Feb 2, 2019 in Australia.
The pool B has Hamilton 7s silver medalists USA, Kenya 7s, Canada and France.
Kenya played France in Hamilton winning 19-15 as they went on to reach Challenge trophy final and climb to 13th. Canada are only two places above Kenya with 20 points.
Kenya 7s is yet to reach cup quarterfinals in 2018/19 season but had their best performance so far in New Zealand which will be a motivation going to Australia in the new month.
The flawless Fiji are seeded top and will play Samoa, England and Japan as New Zealand, Scotland, Spain and Wales clash in pool C.
South Africa, Australia, Argentina and invitational side Tonga complete pool D which is also seen as the hardest one for the weekend.
