Strathmore School is set to play Githiga High on Wed, March 21, 2018, in the 2018 Prescott Cup relegation playoff at Nairobi School from 4pm, according to Satrthmore's Mr.Karani.

The winner of the clash will be retained in this year’s competition while the loser will be relegated to Damu Pevu tournament.

Both Strathmore and Githiga finished bottom in their respective pools in 2017 paving way for the playoff. 

In 2017 due to serious "academic injuries", Strathmore school fielded only one consolidated team to compete for the Prescott Cup and not the Damu Changa cup

St.Mary’s School won the 2017 Damu Pevu to be promoted back to Prescott Cup after three years in the cold. This was courtesy of a walkover from Jamhuri High.
