Kenya 7s Shujaa and Morans progressed to the semi-finals of Safari 7s after winning quarters duels on Sunday morning at Quins.
Shujaa beat Samurai 19-14 in the second quarterfinal with tries from Nelson Oyoo, Andrew Amonde and substitute Mike Okello of Mwamba RFC.
Samurai restricted Kenya Shujaa to no score in the second half.
Kenya however lost Collins Injera to a shoulder injury with head coach Paul Feeney saying he will be out for the rest of the tournament.
"He's out for the rest of the tournament but we are carrying scans for further info," said Feeney.
Feeney was delighted to see Morans also go through as they beat Seventise 24-7 to book either Red Wailers or Russia Academy in semis.
"It's good to have both teams in semis. We did our job."
South Africa beat KCB 31-14 to book Kenya Shujaa in semis.
