South Coast Pirates picked an important away draw in the 11th round of the KRU Championship as they held UoE Trojans 20-20 in Eldoret on Sat Feb 23, 2019.

Collins Shikuku went over for Pirates with Charles Okwemba winning a penalty try as Kevin Amiani was sure with the boot.

Earning two points from the draw moves Pirates to 17 points, one below UoE but drop to 10th as Kitale RFC beat Mombasa RFC 15-3. 

Leonard Khamati and Vitalis Wanyoyi scored for Kitale in the win over Mombasa as captain Albin Oduako converted one and sent a penalty in.

MMUST bagged the biggest win of the weekend beating Ngong RFC 51-12 with the win taking them to fifth with 23 points above Mombasa RFC. 

In another match played on Saturday, Kisumu RFC beat Egerton Wasps 13-11 to remain fourth with 28 points. Egerton drop to 9th.
