Daniel Taabu, who was at Dubai and Cape Town 7s with Kenya 7s, makes the bench.
According to Mwamba Media, there’s a slight tweak in the backline as Greg Odhiambo moves outside the centre to blind wing in place of Felix Otieno who drops to the bench. Michael Agevi has recovered from a thigh muscle injury and will partner skipper Brad Owako in midfield. Eliakim Kichoi and Ronnie Omondi complete the back three.
Menengai Oilers will be seeking to win their first match in Nairobi and head coach Gibson Weru has recalled hooker Hughes Anjera and winger Derrick Mbaire.
Speaking to Raga House earlier this week, Weru said: "Mwamba will be a tough opponent without a doubt they are a good side, very unpredictable so that's an area we have to prepare for."
"If you look at Mwamba and the games they have played, those ones they have lost marginally they are a side that likes running kind of rugby so we should prepare that be able to counter that. We have to keep possession to come out with something."
Kenya 7s international Eric Ombassa starts from the bench as well as Moses Arara, Andrew Odero, Vincent Oduor, Chrispine Shitindo, Rodgers Audi, Kelvin Mokoyani among others.
Going to matchday five, Mwamba and Oilers are separated by only one points with Kulabu sitting eigth with seven points while the Kenya Cup debutants are 10th with six.
