Kenya Simbas successfully defended the Elgon Cup by defeating Uganda Cranes 16-5 in the second leg in Kampala on Saturday July 13.
Kenya had lost 13-16 in the first leg played in Kisumu in June but Saturday's win sees them retain the mountain on 29-21 aggregate.
Winger Jacob Ojee scored 11 of Kenya's points.
Uganda took a 5-0 lead through Ronald Kanyanya's try but Billy Omondi cancelled the score before Kenya 7s captain Jacob Ojee sent Kenya 5-8 up from the tee.
That would remain the score going to the breather but the KCB speedster slotted in another three-pointer after the break.
Scrumhalf Mickey Wanjala set up Ojee to sprint up to 70m to score Kenya's second and final try and secure the win.
