Kenya 7s arrived in Sydney Australia on Monday ahead of this weekend's fourth leg of the 2018/19 HSBC World Sevens Series, Sydney 7s.

Kenya is looking to improve on their Hamilton 7s performance that saw them pick seven points. At Sydney 7s, Kenya is grouped in pool B with Hamilton 7s runners-up USA, Canada and France.

"We are good and everything is fine. Everyone in our pool is ranked above us," Head Coach Paul Murunga told Raga House on Thurday morning from Australia.

Kenya played France in Hamilton winning 19-15 as they went on to reach Challenge trophy final and climb to 13th. Canada are only two places above Kenya with 20 points.

"We need to work extra hard to win each game. Any win for us is a plus," added Pau.

Kenya opens Sydney 7s campaign against Canada at 1.44am on Saturday with the match against USA set to follow at 7.34am. They will close pool matches at 11.17am against France.
