Kenya Cup defending champions KCB ran in 10 tries as they bamboozled Blak Blad 70-16 in the third round of the league on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at KCB Sports Club.
Of those 10 tries which were all converted, four came in the first half with the rest completing the whitewash in the second half.
Last season’s Kenya Cup top scorer Darwin Mukidza picked from where he left scoring 20 points from the conversions.
Peter Waitere and Peter Kilonzo scored two tries each with other touchdowns coming from Martin Owila, Ken Moseti, Oscar Simiyu, Nick Ongeri, Stafford Abeka and Ahmed Shaban.
Blak Blad, who went into the match after two wins, managed a converted try and two penalties in the heavy defeat to the bankers.
Levy Amunga booted the two penalties as well as converting Brian Kadenge’s try.
For the win, KCB goes top with 15 points after bagging a bonus and Impala’s defeat to Homeboyz in a match played at Jamhuri Showground.
