KCB winger Geoffrey Okwach is among five nominees for the 2019 Safaricom SOYA most promising boy for the awards set for January 2020 in Mombasa.

Okwach had a good 2019 helping KCB to a third Kenya Cup title in a row, Kenya U20 win Africa Cup and qualify for World Trophy.

He faces competition from Athlete Dominic Ndigiti, Footballer Daniel Sakari, Basketball Eugene Adare and Tennis player Albert Njogu.

Okwach also won the national sevens series with KCB after picking main cups at Dala, Christie and Driftwood 7s legs. 

He also played for Kenya 7s in 2019 at Safari 7s.
