Top Fry Nakuru welcome back halfback Geoffrey Ominde for Saturday’s Kabeberi 7s in Meru County.

Ominde missed last week’s Kakamega 7s where Nakuru finished fourth after losing to Mwamba in the bronze final. 

Other changes made by head coach Mitch Ochola see Edwins Makori and Fredrick Odong make up the 13-mnyore squad to Meru.

Strathmore Leos will once again be led by Lucas Oppal as Gideon Makumi, Brian Alukwe, Richard Omedo, Barnabas Our and Bethwel Anami also travel to Meru.

Others named are Philemon Odero but there’s no place for Philemon Olang and Mathew Mogaya. 

Strathmore secured a fifth place finish at Kakamega 7s after losing their cup quarterfinal 28-12 to eventual cup winners KCB. 

Kakamega 7s div II champions Northern Suburbs Cubs handed debuts to Alex Mulwa and John Ngige on their bid to remain on top division of Stanbic 7s going to Dala 7s.

Fourth team in pool D, 2016 Stanbic 7s champions Kabras Sugar, have since pulled out of the tournament.
