A 10-5 fall to Vihiga Granites at the Meru Polytechnic on Sunday 28 July during the quarterfinals ended Makueni RFC's reign as the Kabeberi 7s Div II champions.

As Makueni gave up their crown, Daystar Falcons, Shamas and Vumbi booked their places in the semis with respective wins over KCAA Stormers, KCA and Milo RFC, in that order. 

In the Div II Challenge Trophy, AP, Mombasa, Embu and Masaku all booked their places in the semis
