Impressive Kenya 7s knocked out of Cape Town 7s

An impressive Kenya 7s went out of Cape Town 7s on the hands of hosts South Africa after losing 5-17 in the first quarterfinal.

Inform Alvin Buffa Otieno scored Kenya’s only try that saw the two African sides head to the interval one try apiece.

The Blitzboks however converted their chances in the second half after couple of errors from Kenya to seal the game. R Nel and Selvyn Davids were on the scoresheet for South Africa.

As South Africa proceeds to cup semifinal, its the end of the tournament for Kenya 7s who are assured of at least 10 points from Cape Town 7s depending on other quarterfinals.

Kenya returns to action in January 2020 when the series head to Oceania region for New Zealand and Australia sevens.
