Homeboyz end Kabras’ unbeaten run, KCB down Impala

Homeboyz ended Kabras Sugar’s unbeaten win beating them 20-17 on match day 8 of the2019/20 Kenya Cup at Impala Club.

Homeboyz led 13-3 at the interval before adding seven more points in the second half on their way to seventh win of the win.

Even Asena converter two penalties for Homeboyz with Jone Kung also sending one in with but Max Kangeri’s try converted by Asena saw Homeboyz lead by the 10 points at the interval.

Second half saw Kabras hit back through Jone Kubu with Ntabeni Dukisa adding the extras but Abel Matanda hit back for the Deejayz.

Winger Paul Abuto would score the last try for Kabras with Dukisa converting but was not enough for a possible comeback.

Kabras bagged a losing bonus for going down with less than 7 points.

Across the City, defending champions KCB beat Impala Saracens 15-5 to register their seventh win of the season. 

Geoffrey Okwatch scored the only try in the first half for KCB with Levy Amunga adding a penalty before the former Blak Blad star converted Curtis Lilako’s try in the second half.

Xavier Kipngetich pulled one back for Impala.
